What is PAT Testing?
PAT Testing is the term used to describe the process of testing all portable electrical appliances within a workplace. Most electrical appliances require a combined formal visual test and inspection every 12 months. This can vary depending on usage of the electrical appliances.
Local drop-in PAT Testing service
We offer a drop-in PAT Testing service for customers with less than 15 appliances. Our in-house PAT Testing team offers a competitive, while-you-wait service for customers with a few items.
We find our drop-in PAT Testing service very useful for DJ's, Bands, Entertainers and Freelancers. This service normally takes 30 minutes depending on the appliances. We carry out our drop in service from our premises in Speke, Liverpool.
Our drop-in service is a fast and efficient service and ensures you are compliant the same day as the testing is carried out. Our team understand the difficulties associated with schedules, so we work around your schedule. We are able to offer you the drop-in service from 8:30am to 4:30pm; Monday to Friday.

How much does this service cost?
If you have less than 15 items and are based in Liverpool why not use our drop-in service. We have a one off charge of £40 for up to 10 items, with additional items costing £2.00 each. This service is perfect for the likes of Trades People, Freelancers, Musicians etc, who only require a small amount of items to be tested.

What to expect
Our team offer a hassle-free PAT Testing service from start to finish. Call or email one of friendly staff for a instant quote. Once you are happy with the quote we will arrange a time and date to fit around you. We are 1 mile way from Liverpool Airport and only 5 miles from Liverpool City Centre and really easy to find.
On the day of testing, our engineers will be waiting for your arrival at our premises at the allocated time. Our engineers can normally PAT Test between 15-20 items in approx. 30 minutes. Each item will be fully tested and identified with a test sticker, identifying if the item has failed or passed.
On completion you will be emailed a certificate and a detailed report of each item. The certificate acts as proof that the person responsible has taken steps necessary to ensure safety. The detailed report will highlight the pass or fails of each item.
